Ancient trees foretell looming judgment in 9/11 mystery unlocked in explosive new documentary ‘The Harbingers of Things to Come’

NEW YORK — As hot dust settled after the Twin Towers collapsed on 9/11, a sycamore tree in a nearby cemetery bore the blast of the debris and died, clearing the way for yet another harbinger, or sign, of looming divine judgment prophesied long ago in passages of the Bible. This harbinger, along with others, was made clear in New York Times bestselling author Jonathan Cahn’s book “The Harbinger II: The Return” (2020).

Now, Cahn will be exposing additional ancient mysteries in his riveting feature documentary, “The Harbingers of Things to Come.” This film, based on Jonathan Cahn’s bestselling and brilliant successes with “The Harbinger” book series, reveals the ancient mysteries that lie behind what is happening in America and the world today—and in the future.

In theaters across America on Thursday, May 12, 2022, Cahn takes audiences on an epic journey from the shores of New England to the steps of the Supreme Court; from a boat on the Hudson River to the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, to explore the ancient mystery behind the event shaking America and the world. In his bestseller “The Harbinger” (2012), Cahn unlocked mysterious Old Testament imagery of a collapsed sycamore tree to identify the attacks of September 11, 2001, as a sign of God’s impending judgment. New York City later replaced the sycamore by planting a conifer tree on the same spot, referred to as the “Tree of Hope.” It was the same act performed in ancient Israel before its destruction and was identified as a sign of judgment in Isaiah 9:10. The stronger tree was to be a sign of the nation’s defiance, resilience, and resurgence — without God.

Cahn, by contrast, recognized the new tree in New York as a sign of defiance against God.

“When a nation such as this places its hope in its own powers to save itself, then its hope is false,” Cahn stated. “Its true hope is found only in returning to God. Without that, its Tree of Hope is a harbinger of the day when its strong cedars come crashing down to the earth.”

Cahn’s words appeared to be vindicated a few years later, as the “Tree of Hope” was ripped from the soil and discarded after it failed to take root. The imagery of a destroyed conifer is not lost on Cahn, who shows readers in “The Harbinger II”that a collapsed cedar tree (a conifer) appears in the Bible as a sign of judgment from God — a judgment harsher than that which befell the sycamore tree in Scripture.

What specifically did this harbinger of the collapsed cedar, meant to replace a previous harbinger, mean for America? Cahn looks to the prophets of the Old Testament to show that it means a judgment more severe than 9/11 would come to America—which Cahn explores in his riveting new documentary.

With the release of his second book in the series, “The Harbinger II: The Return in September 2020, multitudes of new fans have embraced Jonathan Cahn’s compelling messages and prophecies, in addition to the millions that are already heeding the warnings and prophecies outlined in his previous books over the past decade.

The author has made multiple media appearances, including on CBN’s “700 Club,” TBN’s “Praise,” and “Family Talk” with Dr. James Dobson.

Cahn’s first book, “The Harbinger,” became an instant New York Times bestseller when it was published in 2012. His next four books were also New York Times bestsellers: “The Mystery of the Shemitah,” “The Book of Mysteries,” “The Paradigm,” and “The Oracle.” Along with Billy Graham, Cahn was named one of the top 40 spiritual leaders of the past 40 years who has radically impacted the world.

Called the prophetic voice of this generation, Cahn has spoken on Capitol Hill, at the United Nations, and to millions around the world. Cahn is known for opening the deep mysteries of Scripture and bringing forth messages of prophetic import. He leads Hope of the World ministry, an international outreach of teaching, evangelism, and compassion projects for the world’s neediest. He also leads the Jerusalem Center/Beth Israel, a worship center made up of Jews and Gentiles, and people of all backgrounds, outside New York City in Wayne, New Jersey. His ministry can be contacted at HopeoftheWorld.org and on his Facebook.

Charisma Media’s book division, Frontline, has published Cahn’s books over the past ten years and is partnering with Fathom Events to release Cahn’s new documentary into theaters.  For more information about the documentary, “The Harbingers of Things to Come,” visit https://harbingersofthingstocome.com/.
